eBay erhöht Beteiligung an EachNet

Das Internet-Auktionshaus eBay hat beschlossen, die EachNet Incorporation komplett zu übernehmen. Im März 2002 hatte eBay bereits 33 Prozent an dem eCommerce-Unternehmen mit Sitz in China erworben. Für die restlichen 67 Prozent zahlt eBay rund 150 Mio US-Dollar. "EachNet has built a great business and is in a fantastic position to take advantage of the long-term growth prospects of e-commerce in China," sagte Meg Whitman, Präsident und CEO von eBay. "We're very excited to be increasing our commitment to EachNet and the future of China's vibrant Internet economy."
