Radsport: Tissot verlängert mit dem Weltverband UCI

Die renommierte Schweizer Uhren-Marke Tissot bleibt bis Ende 2020 Top-Sponsor beim Radsport-Weltverband Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) mit Sitz in Aigle in der Schweiz. Die Partnerschaft. die bereits 1995 begann, wurde um vier Jahre verlängert. Tissot tritt nicht nur als offizieller Zeitnehmer auf, sondern wird auch Titel-Sponsor des UCI Track World Cups.

UCI-Präsident Brian Cookson und Tissot-Präsident Francois Thiébaud waren beim Abschluss des neuen Sponsoring-Vertrages höchstpersönlich involviert. UCI President Brian Cookson said: "I am extremely pleased about this historic agreement, which makes Tissot the Official Timekeeper of cycling. This partnership allies Tissot world-renowned precision with the growing popularity of our Olympic sport across the globe. All of our disciplines will benefit from this alliance and our fans will surely appreciate the technological savoir-faire of our trusted partner."
